How I studied for this exam.
- Read the training material before a week before the class started. You can download a PDF copy on Epic's training site. You must have a login.
- Attended 2 day class. This was my first trip to Epic. Epic is a fun place to visit.
- Reviewed the training material again. (20 hours)
- Created Quizlet for each chapter
- Hands on exercise in Hyperspace using the training environment (10 hours)
- Asked an Epic employees a few questions on materials that I wasn't sure about. (1 hour)
- Took the test. (2 hours)
General Tips for the exam
- Take the Epic practice exam.
- The practice test is a good example of the actual test. Pay attention to the wording of the questions.
- Remember all the major tools by heart
- I memorized all the major tools like major forms/screen of Execution Management, Record Viewer, Item Editor, etc.
- Make your own cheat sheet
- For example, I had a list of all the INI covered in the workbook.
- Have Galaxy open while you take the test so that you can quickly search the workbook
